General Information
Casa Genoveffa is a typical Venetian building of the end of the eighteenth century and it has been completely rebuilt. It is inserted in an ancient Venetian calle, amoung the resident houses and it allows the guests to relish the rhythms and the typical habits of the lagoon people. Its thick walls make it a place which is cool in Summer and warm in Winter. Its position is strategic as in ten minutes you can visit the most famous town places and in the meantime it retains the whole fascination of its roots, being in a zone which is not overpowered from the mass tourism, but with all the comforts to spend an unforgettable stay in full comfort and privacy. Only in three minutes you can, in fact, catch up with a very well-stocked supermarket for your everyday purchases. Furthermore, in ten minutes, the most fancy people can reach on foot along Fondamenta Santa Eufemia, towards Stucky Mill, the very famous Cipriani Patisserie to taste its deliciousnesses. For the most romantic people there has to be without fail the sunset view on the Giudeccas Canal: it is spectacular in every season. Moreover, Casagenoveffa offers its guests the possbility to have lunch and dinner, at a special price, in a restaurant which has an arrangement and is very close to the house.
