General Information
When you reach Donnas and enter the Medieval Village, you will have the impression of going back in time.Here nothing or almost nothing has changed. Here the atmosphere you take in is very different from the one we are used to, and this we feel is the perfect setting for our hotel. Daniele and I, Sonia, have been running this hotel in 2005, and we try very hard to maintain this enchanting atmosphere also in our little hotel.
Therefore we will be very happy to welcome you to St.Ours and we will try to make your stay with us unforgettable.
The St. Ours Hotel was originally the family home of the Porcels of Donnas and dates as far back as 1738. It was completely refurbished in the 90’s, allowing the typical Aostan style prevail, which is dominated by stone and wood. Numerous are the features that gives St. Ours Hotel a warm and welcoming atmosphere, for example the stone chimney located in the reading room.
The family management tries to reflect this characteristic atmosphere therefore rendering the hotel a pleasant place for a relaxing and comfortable stay.At the second floor, the hotel has two small delightful dining areas with a fireplace and a stone stove that boast an intimate and warm atmosphere.
Our chef Daniele offers the specialities of the season, as well as the typical and regional dishes, to be savoured and enjoyed sipping a good glass of wine, chosen from a vast selection stocked in our cellar. Our ancient wine cellars can give you the right relax you deserve even on vacation. Take the opportunity to enjoy top quality wine in a traditional elegant setting. A full wine selections is available to embrace every different flavoursAll 9 delightful bedrooms maintain the local traditional style, which blends well with the modern services. They are all individually furnished and have private bathrooms with shower, telephone connectable to your P.C., and colour T.V.

We have contact with the best professional people in the area who allow you to go rafting, free climbing, canyonning, hydrospeed, parachuting, horse riding, playing golf, or hiking mountains and walking in the Aosta Valley natural parkThe St. Ours Hotel is situated at the heart of the Old Village of Donnas, and has windows that date as far back as the 500’s, the alfrescos, and the walnut portals preserve this atmosphere, rich and enchanting.
It is here in this charming setting, that the ‘Foire de Saint Ours’ takes place every year, an event which allows the Aostan artisans to exhibit there works of wood, ollare stone and wrought iron. The hotel is an ideal location to put you in easy reach of the ski resorts, Gressoney, Champoluc and Champorcher in winter, and for pleasant walks in the nearby Mont Avic valley, or along the numerous Monte Rosa paths in summer.
