General Information
The Hotel Conca Azzurra has been run by the Brovelli's family since three generations, it is situated on the Lombardy side of Lake Maggiore with a breathtaking view of the lake and the surrounding Alps.
For the high quality of the services, the hospitality and the good kitchen offered to the customers, it is today considered as a valuable atmosphere where to spend nice days of relax surrounded by the green of the campaign and the blue of the lake.
The Restaurant "La Veranda" offers the privilege to enjoy the wide panorama all over the year and in the good season it is opened as a terrace for romantic dinners under the stars.The gastronomic suggestions are realised to give more importance to the dishes of the lake tradition and the Lombardy country.
The excellent cuisine and the well-stocked wine cellar will satisfy the most refined customers.
All the rooms have the balcony or the terrace, are modern furnished equipped with all comforts (air condition, direct dialling telephone, satellite colour TV, Internet connection, mini-bar, safe, phone, and we can accommodate small animals.
The swimming-pool and the tennis court are situated in the multi-colour flowered gardens to spend some funny and peaceful days open air. The swimming pool is furnished with deck-chairs and beach umbrellas. Towels are also available for the guests. The hydro-massage corner is a nice and no-stress place where to meet.There is a big parking place for all the costumers.

Location Description
The Castle or Rocca of Angera an unusual example of a completely preserved medieval fortified building, rises on a spur of calcareous rock that has always dominated the southern part of Lake Maggiore.The European Transport Museum, founded in 1954 by Francesco Ogliari is situated in Ranco. A passionate collector of his subject, he supervises and maintains the collection, the fruits of over forty years of research. Villa della Porta Bozzolo, Casalzuigno (VA).
This villa was built by a member of the family Della Porta about 1500. During the course of time the property was enlarged, but the significant changes were made by Gianangelo III Della Porta at the beginning of the eighteenth century. Famous for its colours and scents, Lake Maggiore offers visitors scenery of incomparable beauty starting with the islands of the Borromeo Gulf, a small archipelago in one of the most alluring parts of the lake and easily reached by boat from Ranco or Angera. Continuing the tour, on the other side of the lake and reached by water is the remarkable hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso, a chapel dating back to the 12th century flanked by two others from the 14th century.
56 kilometres from Ranco, Milan, an international capital of style with its countless shops, is a city waiting to be explored, with diverse itineraries guiding you along hidden streets and around its magnificent monuments. The myriad historical sites include the Duomo, the Castello Sforzesco, the Basilica of Sant'Ambrogio and La Scala opera house. It is easily reached by car or by train from Sesto Calende.
