General Information
L'Agnello d'Oro est un charmant hôtel situé dans une petite rue ancienne et pittoresque de Gênes. Le bâtiment de Vico delle Monachette, au sein duquel est abrité l'établissement, date de 1580 et était à l'origine le domicile du couvent des Teresiane Scalze.
Le bâtiment a conservé la structure de l'ancient couvent, avec ses grandes fenêtres d'origine donnant sur la cour et sa section de cadre extérieur de 150 centimètres.
La construction d'origine a été modifiée par la noble Lady Maddalena Centuriona en 1840 pour la création d'une école qui resta ouverte jusqu'en 1849.
Aujourd'hui, totalement remeublée, la propriété évoque l'atmosphère d'une auberge des temps anciens mais avec des chambres agréables et claires et dotées de mobilier moderne. Des fenêtres du grenier, il est possible d'admirer le merveilleux panorama du centre historique et du vieux port.
