The charming Baccina apartment is situated on the first floor of a small 18th century apartment building in the Monti area, a central and characteristic neighbourhood in the heart of Rome's historic centre, which lies between the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, Piazza Venezia, Via Nazionale and the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore. Monti, so called because it is located between the Roman hills, is one of the most ancient Roman areas and site of the Trajan Markets and the Domus Aurea. It is a characteristic area full of pedestrian areas situated away from traffic, and contains a wealth of art and history.
