General Information
Albergo delle Notarie is situated right in the heart of Reggio Emilia, in the most historical part of the town, only fifty metres from the main square (Piazza del Duomo, which the locals call “the big square”).
Recently renovated, with furnishings that create an atmosphere that is elegant but at the same time homey, and far from any standardization, Albergo delle Notarie offers guests the opportunity to admire the extraordinary beauty of the historical sites and monuments that have made this city a true “pearl” of the Emilia-Romagna region.
Close to the hotel, in addition to the Cathedral, guests can visit the Church of San Prospero and the Basilica of the Ghiara, both important historical sites, the Panizzi Library, one of the most well-furnished in the region, the Municipal Theatre, and the Hall of the Tricolore, birthplace of our three-colour national flag.
To ensure that our guests' stay is even more comfortable, the hotel also provides on-site parking in an automated garage.
The hotel has fifty-one rooms, including four with wheelchair access, divided into four categories: Standard, Comfort, Luxury, and Apartments.
With all the amenities to be expected of a four-star hotel, the rooms are furnished in a style that is simple yet refined and welcoming.
The rooms offer a pleasant environment, carefully designed with the utmost attention to detail, to satisfy the needs of any type of international clientele.
In particular, the recently opened Luxury rooms are considerably larger than the other types and have an even more particular and elegant decor.
The Apartments are equipped with further optionals such as a personal computer and dedicated fax and Internet connection. An Internet point is also available in the main hall for the guests requiring it.
