How to Arrive in Carpi in Emilia-Romagna

By car - The A22 Motorway Modena-Brennero passes Carpi, so one may leave the motorway at the Carpi toll-booth and reach the city centre by following the indications. If one uses the ordinary roads:
- the main road (S.S 413 Romana sud/south) from Modena (18 km)and from Bologna (53 km)
- the main road (S.S 413 Romana nord/north) from Mantua (60 km)
- the main road (S.S 468) from Reggio Emilia...

By plane
The quickest way of reaching Carpi from the "Marconi" airport of Bologna is to catch a bus to the central railway station.
From there catch a train to Modena (there is one every hour) which takes 20 minutes and then go to Platform n° 6 and catch a train for Carpi. Those arriving from a Milan airport should go to the central railway station and catch a train for Modena (sometimes it is more convenient to go to Bologna and then get a train to Modena)

N.B. It's advisable to arrive during the day when there are more trains and buses running.
