Italy - Information on Durazzano in the Province of Benevento
Durazzano, bordering on the outskirts of Caserta, appears like a lively agricultural and commercial centre. The first news about its origins dates back to the year 1311, when it belonged to the French Family De Sus; it then belonged to the Earl Baldassarre Della Ratta, then to the Caracciolo family, the Carafa, the Loffredo and the Gargano.
With the fall of feudalism and the unity of Italy it was incorporated in the province of Benevento.
