About Bucciano
The town is situated at the foot of Mount Taburno and its economy is based on agriculture.
Finds seem to attest that a town settlement already existed before the Roman Age.
The earliest data, mentioning “Bucianus”, dates back to 1326. Old hamlet of the neighbouring Airola, sharing its history up to the abolition of feudalism, on the unity of Italy it became self-governing, being annexed to the province di Benevento.
