Valli de Leno in the Town of Rovereto
After 80 years Mount Pasubio at first sight a mountain like any other, hides innumerable signs of the conflicts it was witnessed. The visitor on the barren ridges of Pasubio can see rocks shattered by explosions, wooden crosses and the battlegrounds with their networks of tunnels and trenches of the First World War, unchanged by the passing of time.
These same signs which live in the memories of both winners and losers of past conflicts have made of the mountain today a place of pilgrimage of peace.
